Midlife Kitchen: Dinner

I’m convinced that 90% of being an adult is asking the same question every single day:

“What shall we have for dinner?”

By the end of a long day, when you’ve worked, exercised, looked after everyone else and made approximately a hundred decisions already, coming up with something healthy, satisfying and family-friendly can feel like one task too many.

The good news is that dinner doesn’t need to be complicated. In fact, the best meals are often the simplest. A source of protein, plenty of colourful vegetables, some healthy fats and carbohydrates to fuel your body is usually all you need.

The recipes in this section are designed with real life in mind. They’re quick to prepare, packed with goodness and easy to adapt depending on what you have in the fridge. You’ll notice there are no calorie counts, no restrictions and no “good” or “bad” foods. That’s because our focus is on nourishing your body, supporting your energy levels and helping you feel strong and well in midlife.

My biggest piece of advice? Keep it simple. Aim for progress, not perfection, and remember that every nutritious meal is a win.
