Strength training is one of the most powerful things we can do in midlife, but it can feel confusing to know where to start or how to keep progressing. This section gives you a clear pathway: learn the movements, follow structured programmes and track your progress.
STEP 1: FOLLOW AND LEARN
Follow the movements. Grow in confidence.
If you’re new to strength training or simply want to build confidence with weights, this is where to start.
Simply Dumbbells – These follow-along workouts use dumbbell exercises and clear coaching. Learn good technique, feel stronger and lift safely. Repeat the workouts as often as you need—good form and consistency are what build results.
In this section you’ll find:
- Full body workouts
- Upper Body Burn
- Lower Body Strength
Each of the workouts are around 20 minutes and you join in with me. Simple and effective.
Ready to give it a go?
STEP 2: PROGRESS
Build strength. Track your progress.
Once you’re confident with the basic movements, it’s time to move beyond follow-along workouts. These structured programmes are designed to help you get stronger by repeating key exercises, gradually increasing the weight you lift and tracking your progress along the way.
In this section you’ll find:
- Programmes for the gym and home
- Full body sessions
- Lower body sessions
- Upper body sessions
Each session uses an online workout journal so you can record notes and weights as you go – each time you submit a workout, you get a copy emailed to you and I can see it as well which is amazing for accountability and support.
This step is all about consistency, technique and gradually challenging yourself a little more over time.
STEP 3: PERSONAL COACHING (OPTIONAL UPGRADE)
Take your training to the next level.
If you’re looking for extra accountability and personalised support, this coaching upgrade is designed for you.
Once you’ve completed some of the Strength Sessions in Step 2, I’ll review your completed workout journals alongside your ‘starting point questionnaire’ and ‘goals’ to create a new training block for you to follow for the next 4-6 weeks. It’s completely flexible and designed to suit you, your lifestyle and goals.
This isn’t about changing your programme every week. It’s about having an experienced coach in your corner to help you stay accountable, celebrate your progress and know exactly when it’s time to progress.
This optional upgrade includes:
- A personalised strength programme based on your goals and training schedule based on 1, 2 or 3 workout sessions a week
- Workout journals to complete after each session
- Personal feedback following every journal submission
- Progress tracking and guidance throughout your programme
At the end of your coaching block, you can continue independently or purchase another personalised programme to keep progressing.
Whether you’re training at home or in the gym, you’ll have the reassurance of knowing someone is supporting you every step of the way.
